Unable To Uninstall Application in Nokia S60v2 and S60v3 (Solved)

To Uninstall any application in Nokia S60v2 and S60v3, we generally go to Manager, it scans for the application, and then you can select and remove the application. However, in some case, for some reasons, you won’t be able to uninstall some application in Nokia. This guide will show you, how to uninstall application that you are unable to uninstall via Manager in Nokia S60v2 and S60v3. Most of the times you are unable to uninstall an application (mostly Java games) using the Manager function in the phone.

Note: This Guide is for Nokia Symbian OS Supporting S60V2 and S60V3

Follow the below step to Uninstall Application in Nokia S60v2 and S60v3:

1. Install FExplorer.

2. Launch FExplorer and go to the path/folder of the Application. I’m assuming you have installed the application on the Memory Card, so the path would be something like, E:\system\apps.

There are lots of folders inside the apps Folder, now go into every single folder and open text file inside the folder to know about the application (Check the application folder label or icon or any Text file to know about the application).

3. If you found the correct folder you were looking for, Then “move-out” of the folder, click on Options –> File –> Delete.

4. Then go to the Manager to uninstall it, if it’s still listed.

5. Reboot & Done…
